- If you are a male aged 16–23 with O’Level results, you are eligible for the Mission Programmes (e.g., School Leavers Programmes).
- If you are a graduate, worker, or outside the mission age range, you can apply for the General Programmes.
- Mission Programmes are social impact initiatives aimed at helping young urban males (ages 16–23) build technical and professional skills. Scholarships are available for these programmes.
- General Programmes cater to graduates and working professionals. These are fee-paying and may be supported by donors or sponsors.
Yes. You can apply for General or Graduate/Workers Programmes. However, you will not be eligible for Mission Programme scholarships.
Currently, IIT’s Mission Programmes are open only to male youths, in line with the institute’s founding social project. However, females are welcome to apply for General or Graduate/Workers Programmes.

You’ll receive an invite for an entrance assessment (Mathematics, Physics, English, Technical Abilities, and Aptitude).
- School leavers then proceed to a faculty interview and management interview (with parents).
- Graduate/worker applicants attend an oral interview after the written test.
Successful applicants will receive an admission offer by email or text. You’ll need to pay the acceptance fee (first instalment of tuition) to secure your place. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum class size of 24.
